Understanding the bilona process of A2 ghee


According to Indian mythology, Lord Krishna was very fond of ghee. The scriptures also state that the villagers, especially women, used to tempt him with their hand-churned butter. Furthermore, he used to tease his mother, Yashoda, to get some butter from her. The bilona process of procuring ghee (butter) from milk has been around since Vedic times called as the traditional churning method.   • Cultured butter i.e. pure ghee: After further heating the curd, the water is evaporated from the ghee and thus the fat gets separated from the milk solids. This is the final A2 cow ghee that has all the nutritional properties of ghee described in Vedas and Ayurvedic Shastras.
